Meet The Team

Natasha Bamber

Executive Director

I’m the Executive Director at Karingal Green and I have been a Registered Nurse for over 12 years and have been working at Karingal Green since December 2022. My previous RN roles include working in Parkinson’s, oncology, respiratory, palliative and older adults’ rehabilitation wards. I decided to move into age care six years ago.

I love supporting our residents and families to enjoy the best version of their lives possible while living at Karingal Green. For me, working in aged care is about making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and providing them with the respect and dignity they deserve during their later years. In my spare time I enjoy ultramarathon swimming; in fact, I have a few big swims coming up over the next few months like the North channel and the English channel.

Tess Woodford

Relationship Manager

With 15 years of experience in residential aged care, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate support to others. My career in this field has not only been rewarding, but it has also provided me with invaluable lessons and perspectives, particularly through the wisdom and life experiences shared by our residents. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from them, as it often proves far more insightful to learn from the experiences of others.

Since March 2020, I have had the privilege of serving as the Relationship Manager at Karingal Green since the facility opened in 2020. My time with the Hall & Prior Group has been incredibly fulfilling. It is an organisation that continuously demonstrates innovation, care, and a commitment to excellence. I am proud to contribute to such a dynamic, fast-paced, and compassionate team, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact within the Hall & Prior community.

Joanne Oakes

Director of Operations

My passion for hospitality began during my time as a chef in London, where I was trained in French cuisine and had the honour of cooking for HRH King Charles and other dignitaries. This experience sparked my love for service, which I carried with me when I moved to Australia in 1996. There, I discovered a new calling in providing exceptional hospitality within the aged care sector. For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of leading teams dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer experience within this special sector.

In 2023, I joined the incredible team at Karingal Green as Director of Operations. In this role, I oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, as well as the provision of hospitality services. I am excited to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we care for, while continuing to uphold the tradition of service excellence at Karingal Green.

Benny Devasia

Director of Nursing South KG

After years of administrative experience, I decided to transition into nursing when I relocated to Australia. I am passionate about nursing, particularly aged care, where I can make a positive impact on someone’s life. The ability to provide care, comfort, and support to those in need is incredibly rewarding. Being a source of compassion and understanding allows me to form strong, meaningful bonds with others. I consider nursing not just a career, but a calling that combines professional skills with a genuine desire to care for others.

For the past three years, I have been fortunate to work with an amazing team at Karingal Green in a managerial role. It is truly a privilege to be part of this state-of-the-art facility, where I work alongside an outstanding group of colleagues, caring every day for its wonderful residents.

Marion Green

Director of Nursing North KG

After leaving school, I completed my enrolled nursing training at WA School of Nursing, following in my family’s footsteps into the caring profession; my Mum and older brother are both nurses. I went on to quality as a Registered Nurse and then worked at SCGH as both a EN and RN, specialising in orthopaedic nursing. I gained experience as a Nurse Manager and have worked in a couple of large health care hospitals/facilities over the years in a variety of management positions.

Recently, my parents needed support within their home and aged care placement, so to assist them and understand the particular challenges of geriatric care, I worked in several aged care nursing teams before arriving here at Karingal Green. The team works together to achieve outstanding results for the residents. The setting is amazing, and the service provided for the residents is offered with both care and compassion. The continued education and support offered to the staff allows us to provide Best Practice to all the resident here at Karingal Green.

Sharon Kroon

Practice Manager, Wellness Centre

I am proud to be working alongside our state-of-the-art physios, massage therapist and therapy assistants in Karingal Green’s fully equipped on-site Wellness Centre. I pride myself on my social skills and enjoy interacting and welcoming clients into the Wellness Centre each day.

My background is in administration and customer service, and I have spent the last decade in aged care. I particularly enjoy meeting new residents and community members to assist them into the transition to care as well as to the service we provide at the Wellness Centre.

Anita Biggin

Home Care Manager

I began my Karingal Green home care adventure in September 2022, establishing the framework for our home care offering, and accepting the first clients in November 2022. I have managed the Town of Bassendean’s home care services, including their day centre, prior to joining the Hall & Prior Group. Before that, I oversaw the CHSP services for Mercy Care including two-day centres and working as a home care package coordinator for many years. I have a real passion for home care and supporting elderly clients living in their own homes for as long as possible.

Most of the clients consider their homes their castles and truly appreciate the help offered to stay where they enjoy living the most – which is in their own home. By offering them home care services delivered by the same level of experience and care as our residential services at Karingal Green, I am confident that I by leading the home care team I am growing the business while maintaining each client’s needs.
